Color-On at the Princeton University Art Museum Store!
May 2022
Window to The Bay #24
Happy Friday, and Happy Memorial Day Weekend! It’s hard to believe the school year is coming to a close, and summer is upon us. Last weekend I had a trip down memory lane back on the Princeton campus for Reunions. It was wonderful to see and hug old friends and march in the annual P-rade after so long. It was fun to visit the Princeton University Art Museum Store to see the current Laura Ann Studio products on the shelves, including a restock of watercolor campus magnets and the debut of two new products - marble coasters and the print edition of the Princeton Color-On Coloring Book! Need a hostess gift for summer socializing? The coasters are available for purchase through the online Princeton University Art Museum Store! Several styles are sold out at the moment but you can place a pre-order!
A #ColoringRoar with the Princeton Color-On Coloring Book Print Release
Thanks to those who participated in the #ColoringRoar lunch event at Reunions - it was fun to see tigers young and old enjoying the book! Released online in April 2020 for printing at home, the coloring book was intended to be a source of joy and stress release and a way to come together through a common activity at a time of social distancing - a coloring ROAR to thank essential workers and uplift the tiger spirits throughout the pandemic. It was wonderful to lift the tiger spirits in person with collective coloring following two years of remote reunions!
I recognize that some alumni still had to stay home this year due to COVID, and tigers near or far are invited to join in the "Coloring Roar" on an ongoing basis. We will continue to gather the completed coloring pages of participants from all corners of the world into a collection of pandemic art expression. Download for at home print here:

May Diaper fundraiser update
Thanks so much to those who have already contributed! As an Associate Board Member of Help a Mother Out (HAMO), I dedicated my Mother’s Day and birthday to a campaign to send much needed diapers to Ukrainian Refugees. HAMO has sent over 100,000 diapers to the Poland/Ukraine border, but there is so much more to do. Funds raised will be used to send diapers directly to HAMO's partner, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Now through May 31st a generous anonymous donor has offered to match funds up to $25,000. We are so close! Laura Ann Studio is $350 away from our goal of $3,000, and the HAMO overall fundraiser is $928 away from reaching the $25,000 goal - thank you for your support!
With love for the every day and special days,
Laura Ann Trimble Elbogen
